Training: Hose Lines
Mon. Jan 25th 2021

SHVFR firefighters worked with FTI instructors for some back-to-basics hose line training this month.

Approximately two dozen company members assembled for the training, which took place outdoors to allow for easier social distancing measures.

Using Engine 441, firefighters went over pulling and reloading hose lines from a truck. They worked with 1- and 2-man configurations to effectively stretch lines to entry points in different scenarios.
