Sandy Hook's active members participated in a two-part drill, with instructors from Fire Training Innovations (FTI) providing the training necessary for this annual certification.On Monday, April 25, firefighters went through the classroom portion of training.

Sandy Hook Fire & Rescue was one of nearly 70 companies across Connecticut that hosted events at 90 locations on Saturday, April 9. Visitors learned about the different posts they could apply for, toured the main station, and checked out gear and apparatus.
